Switch Management Commands

Default Configuration
This command has no default configuration.
Command Mode
Global Configuration mode, Virtual Router Configuration mode.
User Guidelines
When in virtual router configuration mode, this command operates within
the context of the virtual router instance. When in global config mode, the
command operates on the global router instance.
Virtual Router Configuration mode is only available on the Dell EMC
Networking N3000/N3100-ON/N4000 switches.
Example
console#configure
console(config)#ip address-conflict-detect run
ip address dhcp (Interface Configuration)
Use the ip address dhcp command in Interface (VLAN) Configuration mode
to enable the DHCPv4 client on an interface.
Syntax
ip address dhcp
no ip address dhcp
Default Configuration
DHCPv4 is disabled by default on routing interfaces.
Command Mode
Interface (VLAN) Configuration mode
