• accesslistname — The name used to identify the existing ACL. The range
is 1-31 characters.
•
bgp
— Apply the specified access list when BGP is the source protocol.
•
ospf
— Apply the specified access list when OSPF is the source protocol.
•
static
— Apply the specified access list when packets come through a static
route.
•
connected
— Apply the specified access list when packets come from a
directly connected route.
Default Configuration
This command has no default configuration.
Command Mode
Router RIP Configuration mode.
User Guidelines
The access list has an implicit deny all, so it is advisable to have a permit
statement somewhere on the access list.
The BGP parameter is only available in firmware versions enabled for BGP.
Example
The following example elects access list ACL40 to filter routes received from
the source protocol.
console(config-router)#distribute-list ACL40 out static
enable
Use the
enable
command in Router RIP Configuration mode to reset the
default administrative mode of RIP in the router (active). Use the no form of
the command to disable the administrative mode for RIP.
