Route Map mode
User Guidelines
Use this route map clause to override active routes in the routing table. This
command affects all matching packet types and is used if an active route for
the next hop exists in the routing table. The next hop IP address must be
associated with a directly connected subnet on the router. If no resolvable
active interface is present in the route table, the packet is routed using the
default routing table.
Only one of
set ip next-hop

may be specified in a route map.

set ip precedence
Use this command to set the three IP precedence bits in the IP packet header
on ingress. Values 0 through 7 are supported. This precedence value may be
used by other QoS services in the switch such as weighted fair queuing
(WFQ) or weighted random early detection (WRED). Use the

form of
this command to remove a set clause from a route map.
