Enter the Resilient Ring Protocol and designate a ring identification.
C-Series, E-Series, S-Series, Z-Series, S4810
Syntax protocol frrp { ring-id }
To exit the ring protocol, use the
no protocol frrp { ring-id }
command.

ring-id Enter the ring identification number. Range: 1 to 255.

Information This command places you into the resilient ring protocol. After executing this command, the
command line prompt changes to
conf-frrp
.
show frrp
Display the Resilient Ring Protocol configuration.

Parameters
ring-id
Enter the ring identification number. The range is 1 to 255
summary (OPTIONAL) Enter the keyword
summary
to view just a summarized
