Syntax
neighbor {

To disallow and disconnect connections, use the
no neighbor {
ip-address
|
peer-group-name
} ebgp-multihop
command.
Parameters
ip-address
Enter the IP address of the neighbor in dotted decimal format.
peer-group-name
Enter the name of the peer group.
ttl
(OPTIONAL) Enter the number of hops as the Time to Live (ttl) value.
The range is 1 to 255. The default is 255.

Information
To prevent loops, the
neighbor ebgp-multihop
command does not install the default
routes of the multihop peer. Networks not directly connected are not considered valid for best-
path selection.
neighbor fall-over
Enable or disable fast fall-over for BGP neighbors.
