address family ipv4 multicast (MBGP)
This command changes the context to subsequent address family identifier (SAFI).
C-Series, E-Series TeraScale, S-Series
Syntax
address family ipv4 multicast
To remove SAFI context, use the
no address family ipv4 multicast
command.
Parameters
ipv4
Enter the keyword
ipv4
to specify the address family as IPV4.
multicast
Enter the keyword
multicast
to specify multicast as SAFI.

Usage
Information
After you execute this command, all subsequent commands apply to this address family. You
can exit from this AFI/SAFI to the IPv4 Unicast (the default) family by entering
exit
and
returning to the Router BGP context.

Summarize a range of prefixes to minimize the number of entries in the routing table.

Parameters
ip-address mask
Enter the IP address and mask of the route to be the aggregate
address. Enter the IP address in dotted decimal format (A.B.C.D) and
mask in /prefix format (/x).
advertise-map
map-name
(OPTIONAL) Enter the keywords
advertise-map
followed by the
name of a configured route map to set filters for advertising an
aggregate route.
as-set
(OPTIONAL) Enter the keyword
as-set
to generate path attribute
information and include it in the aggregate.
AS_SET includes AS_PATH and community information from the
routes included in the aggregated route.

map-name
(OPTIONAL) Enter the keywords
attribute-map
followed by the
name of a configured route map to modify attributes of the aggregate,
excluding AS_PATH and NEXT_HOP attributes.
