Introduction

The Utilities option provides the software tools to prime hardware subsystems and to 
prepare them for proper system readiness.  Utilities can also be used to program the 
instrument for maintenance, to perform diagnostics and alignments, to view the Event 
Log, to back up and restore data, and to track reagent metering.
