When the 16bit Configuration Wizard appears navigate to the forth options page and select the Remote
System Lockdown tick option.

Continue to click Next and then finally Finish to communicate and apply the changes to the system.

The system now has Remote System Lockdown activated. When a user tries to access the system by pressing
a key or swiping a card the LCD will display the message ‘System Lockdown’ and an error beep will be
sounded. After the 5 second period the display will return to the previous scrolling status. This only exception
to this is if the user presses the ‘*’ key to access the search menu.

To remove the deactivate Remote System Lockdown, access the firmware wizard and deselect the option.
Then apply the changes to the system as described in the steps above.
