CONTROL SYSTEM
ADJUSTING THE THROTTLE AXLE
LINK (F8CW)
NOTE:
Before adjusting the throttle axle link,make
sure that the throttle control cable is
properly adjusted.
1. Check:
Throttle axle link
Bend/damage
Replace.
Incorrect position Adjust.
2. Adjust:
Throttle axle link
Adjusting steps:
(1)Loosen lock screw 1 .
(2)Operate the control lever of the remote
control box to the fully open position
and put the stopper portion

pulley 2 in contact with the stopper
portion

of throttle wire stay

(3)Hold so that the rear side face

of
free axle lever

is in contact with the
actuating portion

of pulley 2 .
(4)Turn throttle lever

fully clockwise
until it stops, then tighten lock screw

.
(5)Operate the control lever of the remote
control box to the fully open position
and fully closed position, and check
that carburetor throttle link
5 opens
and closes fully.
If it does not move properly, carry out
the above procedure again.
Lock screw:
1.5 N m (0.15 kgf m, 1.1 ft lb)
