79. Disconnect the Flow Flange tubing.
80. Remove the SDA tubing connected to exhaust.
81. Remove the connections between the Reactor Cart exhaust and the pump assembly.
82. Remove any interconnecting tubing from the SDA/RHA (primarily the injector tubing to the injector
block).
83. Using a ladder, reach to the mezzanine level and disconnect all lines and cables, labeling them for
reassembly.
84. Wrap the ends of each mezzanine-cable and place them in the mezzanine level.
Disconnect the Modules from Each Other
85. Except for the ECA and CBP, disconnect the modules from each other by removing the securing
bolts, lowering the modules to their castors and raising the legs.
a. Disconnect all cables in the mezzanine from the RHA to the THA.
b.
Locate the THA’s three-bolt pattern at each corner; bolt the system castors into the frame.
c. Remove the four securing bolts from the THA/RHA
d. Recess the THA legs until the frame is resting on the castors, and move the THA out.
e. Repeat steps a.-c. for the remaining modules (leaving ECA and CBP joined, on castors).
Inspect, Clean and Pack Removed Components
86. Gather the reactor and Transfer Chamber parts and inspect for wear, discoloration and damage.
87. Inspect and clean all metal parts. Where dirty or discolored, clean with isopropyl alcohol. Replace all
damaged parts.
Preparing the LFA/Glovebox and Ante Chamber
88. Remove the following items from the glove box:
Hose clamps
Glove gaskets
Gloves
Shelves
89. Vacuum out the inside of the LFA/glove box and ante chamber (Figure 5-168).
90. Wipe down the LFA/glove box and ante chamber walls with isopropyl alcohol.
91. Wrap the gloves, glove gaskets and hose clamps in bubble wrap and place together in the pass thru
ante chamber.
92. Tie wrap the ante chamber shut.
93. Coil the wires and secure the pedals for the glove box to the frame.
94. Cover the glove box arm holes with aluminum foil and bubble wrap. Secure with tie wraps.
