Pull out
the
Process Stop
button on the Nexus software. This will place the system in the
Soft Stop
state.
30. Toggle the
Idle/Soft Stop
button (switch) on the Nexus software to reset the system and place the
system in the Idle state (check the
Robot Transfer System
Note:
For detailed instructions on the operation of the transfer robot refer to the
Robot
Setup and Adjustment
section of this manual.
31. Verify the transfer robot controller is on and that the robot-stop button is pulled out (the light on the
controller should be green).
32. Using the
Transfer
screen in Nexus software, perform the following actions:
a. Turn on the servomotors using the SVN command.
b. Verify that the robot arm and fork are fully inside the Transfer Hub chamber. If it is not use the MVR
command for the T, R and Z-axes to move the robot arm and fork inside the Transfer Hub.
Note:
Ensure that the fork is empy.
c. Home the robot using the HOM command.
d. Restore the working speeds and accelerations by entering the RSA command.
Final Startup Steps
33. Check line heating.
34. Check to ensure that gas line heaters are on and active.
35. Open the facility source isolation valves for the dopant and hydride sources.
36. Open the manual bubbler valves by opening the outlet valves first and then the inlet valves. For series
bubblers, open the valves on the upstream cylinders (closest to carrier gas supply) and then open the
downstream bubbler valves. Remove the "valve closed" tags.
37. Turn on all temperature control baths, and verify that they have sufficient fluid levels to maintain
circulation. Wait approximately 1 hour for temperatures to stabilize before starting a growth run.
38. Turn on the heater filament power supplies.

complete description of pump operation and maintenance procedures, please refer to the

CD, or supplied with the hard copy vendor manuals.
