Middle Filament Removal
Note:
To aid in removal of the screws, apply a small amount of IPA around the screw
heads.
12. With the torque screwdriver and flat head bit, while holding the flexible electrode to prevent twisting,
remove the two screws connecting the middle filament to the flexible electrode. Remove the remaining
two screws from the non-flexible electrode.
13. Remove the Tungsten screws and remove the clamps from the connector ends (see

Remove the remaining two screws from the non-flexible electrode.
15. Remove the Tungsten screws and remove the clamps from the connector ends (see Figure 5-106).
16. Supporting the middle filament with both hands, gently (release and) raise the filament from the wire
supports, placing the filament onto protective material.
