Disassembly of a previously installed heater assembly includes:
shut down the electrical power (circuit breaker and/or power supplies) to the heater
disconnection of the heater assembly from liquid connections
removal of the heater assembly
Note:
Maintenance and removal/reinstallation of filaments may be performed without
removing the heater assembly from the growth chamber.

Caution:
Components may have deposition on them from growth runs. Use care
when removing them to prevent damage. Boron Nitride/ceramic parts are brittle. Have
replacement parts available before beginning heater disassembly to minimize system down
time. Boron nitride/ceramic parts cannot be cleaned; therefore wear latex gloves when
performing the following procedures and when handling the parts, and avoid exposing the
parts to dust and debris.
