FLOW FLANGE DISASSEMBLY GUIDE 

Prepare the Flow Flange for disassembly by following the steps given in the Flow Flange 
Removal Procedure in the previous section, 

K465i GaN Reactor Chamber Maintenance

. 

 

Procedure 5-7: Flow Flange and Shutter Disassembly 

 

Notes:

  

Ensure that the Flow Flange Assembly and Shutter Lift Assembly drawings are available for 
reference during this procedure, to aid in the disassembly of the flow flange and lift 
assembly. 

Due to the weight of the shutter, ensure that the Flow Flange Assembly are on a solid clean 
surface prior to attempting removal of the shutter. 

 

  1. Vacuum all exposed underside surfaces of the flow flange. After vacuuming once, wipe surfaces with 

a dry clean room wipe, and vacuum again to remove finer surface dust. 

  2. Remove the cooling water tubing from the water connections for the cold plate and confined inlet. 

Remove the cooling water lines from the shutter. Use a suitable container to collect any remaining 
water in the lines.
