Heater Reinstallation (Optional Procedure for Removed Heater)

1. Inspect the baseplate feed-through ceramic pieces for cracks and imperfections and replace if

needed.

2. Clean all (8) feed-through o-ring seats.

3. Align the Water Cooling Tubes with the Water Cooling Tube holes.

4. Align the copper electrodes with the ceramic bushings.

5. Slowly lower the heater assembly (including the inner filament, shown in red) into the holes of the

electrode bushings and baseplate water lines (see Figure 5-109).
