Record the serial number of the filter cassette.

Place the filter cassette with its 47 mm filter installed into the filter
carrier (55-004847), and place the entire assembly into the metal
transport container (
Figure 3–3
) as specified in the U.S. EPA 2.12

, Sectioin 7. The container should be
identified appropriately using a sticker or other system, and should
contain a foam liner to ensure a snug fit.

If the Sampler is a Partisol 2000

-D, the filter cassette carrier will have
filter storage locations for two filter cassettes. Ensure that the proper
loaded filter cassette is installed in the proper position of the filter
cassette carrier. The PM
2.5
, or fine, sample filter will be loaded in the
rear position and the PM
coarse
sample filter will be loaded in the front
position.
