Unscrew the top cap and grit pot from the cyclone.
4.
Wet a lint-free wipe with water and remove all visible deposits from the
inside of the cyclone. You will most likely find the deposits at the
bottom of the cone in the top cap, and on the inside of the grit cap.
5.
Inspect all O-rings for shape and integrity. If necessary, replace the O-
rings with others of the same size and material (Buna-N elastomer).
6.
Lubricate the O-rings with a light silicone grease.
Note
You must properly lubricate the transfer tube O-rings to facilitate
future disassembly of the transfer tube from the fractionator.

7.
Install the grit pot and top cap onto the cyclone.
8.
Install the transfer tube onto the cyclone.
9.
Install the adapter on the cyclone and insert the cyclone into the
Sampler.
10.
Perform a system leak check.
11.
If in the Audit mode, at the Main Menu, select Audit and Calibration
> Audit Mode, and press
to turn Off the Audit mode.
