The Screen Contrast screen is used to change the contrast of the display.
Values between 0 and 100% in increments of 5 are available. Changing the
screen contrast may be necessary if the instrument is operated at extreme
temperatures or lighting conditions.
Notes
The optimal contrast will change with changes in temperature.

The optimal contrast will change from one LCD screen to another. If the
LCD screen is replaced, the contrast may need to be reset.

If the display contrast is not optimal, but the content on the screen is
visible, in the Main Menu, choose Service >
Screen Contrast
, or press the
CTRST soft key on the front panel, and adjust the screen contrast. If the
content on the screen is not visible, use the “set contrast 10” C-Link
command to set the screen contrast to mid range, and then optimize the
contrast. Refer to the “
Hardware Configuration
” section on page
B-20
in
the “
C-Link Protocol Commands
” Appendix for more information on this
command.
