Modifying the Management Network
The
Management Network
parameters need to be modified if you want to:
•
Connect directly to the RMX from a workstation
•
Modify routes
•
Modify DNS information
To view or modify the Management Network Service:

In the
RMX Management
pane, click the
IP Network Services
(
) button.

In the
IP Network Services
list pane, double-click the
Management Network
(
) entry.
The
Management Network Properties - IP
dialog box opens
.
Changes made to any of these parameters only take effect when the RMX is reset. An
Active Alarm
is created when changes made to the system have not yet been implemented and the MCU must be
reset.
On the RealPresence Collaboration Server (RMX) 2000 an additional tab called
LAN Ports
appears.
