Restoring Defaults
You can erase the current RMX configuration and restore default factory settings. There are
two Restore levels:
•
Standard Restore
•
Comprehensive Restore
This tool is intended for Administrator users, to be performed prior to RMA.
Standard Restore
The Standard Restore level (default setting) deletes the following files:
•
CDR
•
Address Book
•
Log Files
•
Faults
•
Dump Files
•
Notes
In addition all the conferencing entities are deleted:
•
Entry Queues
•
Profiles
•
Meeting Rooms
•
IVR Services
•
Default Network IP Service
When the system is restarted, these conferencing entities are created based on the factory
defaults. In addition, the
Fast Configuration Wizard
automatically opens, letting the user to
define the Default IP Network Service.
Comprehensive Restore
In addition to the
Standard Restore
, the system deletes the:
•
CFS license information
•
Management Network Service
The MCU is restored to the settings it had when shipped from the factory. The
Product
Activation Key
is required to re-configure the
Management Network Service
during the
First
Entry Configuration.
