Steering hydraulic system

Overview-components and position

Steering hydraulic system is used to control the vehicle traveling direction, for this configuration, the
steering hydraulic system is a variable load sensing hydraulic system, which is mainly composed of vari-
able plunger pump, shuttle valve, priority valve, metering pump, steering cylinder and other pipeline
accessories. This system can realize steering priority function.

Steering priority refers that oil from the plunger pump will be supplied to steering system with priority and
the surplus oil will be supplied to the work hydraulic system, which is realized by the priority valve. Prior-
ity valve, actually a floating spool, adjusts the flow of oil supply to steering system through sensing the
load pressure of the steering system. The oil flow supplied to the steering system will adapt to the steer-
ing load and velocity.
