Common Commands
Command summary
Common commands (summarized in Table 15-1) are device commands that are common to
all devices on the bus. These commands are designated and de
fi
ned by the IEEE-488.2 stan-
dard. Most of these commands are described in detail in this section.
NOTE
The following common commands associated with the status structure are covered in
Section 14: *CLS, *ESE, *ESE?, *ESR?, *SRE, *SRE?, and *STB?.
