Description
This command is used to set the integration period (speed) for measure-
ments. NPLC (Number of Power Line Cycles) expresses the integration
period by basing it on the power line frequency. For example, for a PLC of
1, the integration period would be 1/60 (for 60Hz line power) which is 16.67
msec.
Note that this is a global command. Thus, if you set the speed for voltage
measurements to 10 PLC, then current and resistance will also set to 10
PLC.

Description
With auto
fi
lter enabled, the instrument automatically selects
fi
lter settings
for current measurements. Heavy
fi
ltering is used for the low current ranges,
and less
fi
ltering as the current range increases. The auto
fi
lter settings are
listed in Tables 6-5, 6-6, and 6-7. For voltage measurements, auto
fi
lter sets
the repeat and moving count to one, and the median rank to zero. These set-
tings effectively disable the three
fi
lters.
When auto
fi
lter is disabled, the present count and rank settings for the three
fi
lters are used for all measurement functions and ranges.
