NETWORK SETTINGS
CHAPTER 6: COMMUNICATIONS
To use SNTP in broadcast mode, program this setting to “0.0.0.0”. The D90
Plus
then listens
to SNTP messages sent to the
all ones
broadcast address for the subnet. The
D90
Plus
waits up to eighteen minutes (1024 seconds) without receiving an SNTP
broadcast message before signaling an SNTP self-test error.
UDP Port Number
Range: 0 to 65535 in steps of 1
Default: 123
This setting specifies the UDP port number for use with the SNTP protocol.
Ethernet Interface
Range: 1, 2, or 3
Default: 1
This setting selects the Ethernet port to use for SNTP communications.
HTTP protocol
The D90
Plus
contains an embedded web server and is capable of transferring web pages to
a web browser such as Microsoft Internet Explorer or Mozilla Firefox. The web pages are
organized as a series of menus that can be accessed starting at the D90
Plus
main menu.
Web pages are read-only and are available showing DNP and IEC 60870-5-104 points lists,
Modbus registers, event records, fault reports, etc. The main menu will be displayed in the
web browser on the computer simply by entering the IP address of the D90
Plus
into the
address field on the web browser.

Select the

menu item to open the HTTP
configuration window.
