Smontaggio cappellotti
laterali
Note
Per maggiore chiarezza nelle
immagini è rappresentata la testa
rimossa dal blocco motore.
Svitare le viti (32) e (1) di fissaggio
e rimuovere il cappellotto (2) sulla
testa verticale (10).
Eseguire la stessa operazione per
la testa orizzontale (
11 ).
Note
Durante la rimozione dei
cappellotti fare attenzione alle
linguette (15) posizionate sugli
alberi distribuzione (16) e (
22 ).
Svitare le viti (21) di fissaggio
cappellotto (20) di supporto
albero distribuzione (
16 ).
Sfilare il cappellotto (20) di supporto
albero distribuzione dalla testa e
recuperare le guarnizioni OR (19).
Gli alberi a camme non ruotano più
sui cuscinetti a sfere ma su
cuscinetti idrodinamici, riducendo
le parti in movimento e favorendo
la dispersione del calore.

Removing side covers
Notes
For reasons of clarity, some
figures show the head removed
from engine.
Undo retaining screws (32) and (1)
then remove cover (2) from vertical
head (10).
Repeat the operation for the
horizontal head (
11 ).
Notes
When removing the covers
pay attention to keys (15) on
camshafts (16) and (
22 ).
Undo screws (21) fixing camshaft ( 16 )
supporting cover (20).
Remove camshaft supporting
cover (20) from the head and
recover O-rings (19).
The camshafts are no longer mounted
on ball bearings but on hydrodynamic
bearings, since this solution serves
to reduce the number of moving
parts and aids heat dispersal.
