Scomposizione comando
freno posteriore
La pompa freno viene fornita
completa e non è possibile eseguire
sostituzione dei componenti interni.
Per la scomposizione dei componenti
esterni del gruppo pompa seguire le
indicazioni dell’esploso riportato
all’inizio della sezione.
In caso di sostituzione della boccola (19)
interna al pedale freno (21), eseguire
il montaggio della boccola nuova
utilizzando per l’introduzione una
pressa e portandola alla quota di
2 mm
della faccia esterna del pedale.
Eseguire la scomposizione dei vari
componenti dell’impianto facendo
riferimento l’esploso a inizio capitolo.
Attenzione
Dopo aver eseguito un
intervento sul comando freno
posteriore occorre verificare la
posizione del pedale freno seguendo
le istruzioni riportate nella sezione D 4.
Rimontaggio comando
freno posteriore
Inserire il distanziale (30) sul perno (14).
Lubrificare l’anello OR (29) e inserire
anche esso sul perno (14).
Lubrificare anche l’altro anello OR (29).
Rimontare il perno (14) sulla leva
pedale freno (21), inserire la molla (15),
l’altro anello OR (29) e la rondella (18).
Importante
Verificare il posizionamento
corretto della molla (15).
Sulla parte filettata del perno (14)
applicare frenafiletti.
Serrare il perno (14) alla coppia di
serraggio prescritta (Sez. C 3).
Installare la piastra porta pedana
sul telaio (Sez. H 4).
Ricollegare l’interruttore stop freno
posteriore (23).
Per il rimontaggio della pompa
eseguire in ordine inverso le
operazioni effettuate per la rimozione.
In particolare fare attenzione a
interporre le guarnizioni (2) tra la
vite speciale (1), tubazione (7) e
pompa freno posteriore (3).
Serrare la vite speciale (1) di fissaggio
pompa freno posteriore (3) e la
vite (27) di fissaggio serbatoio liquido
freno posteriore (25) alla coppia di
serraggio prescritta (Sez. C 3).
Disassembly of the rear
brake master cylinder
The brake master cylinder is supplied
only as a complete unit; internal
components cannot be replaced.
To disassemble the external
components of the master cylinder,
follow the indications given in the
exploded view at the beginning of
this section.
If the brake pedal (21) inner
bushing (19) needs to be renewed, fit
the new bushing using a suitable press
and position it so that it is set in
2 mm
from the outer face of the pedal.
To disassemble the various parts of
the system refer to the exploded
view at the beginning of this chapter.
Warning
After working on the rear
brake control, check the operation
of the brake pedal as described in
Section D 4.
Refitting the rear brake
pedal
Fit the spacer (30) on the pivot bolt (14).
Lubricate the O-ring (29) and fit on to
the pivot bolt (14).
Lubricate also the other O-ring (29).
Refit the pivot bolt (14) to the brake
pedal (21), insert the spring (15), the
other O-ring (29) and the washer (18).
Important
Check that the spring (15) is
positioned correctly.
Apply threadlocker to the threads of
the pivot bolt (14).
Tighten the pivot bolt (14) to the
specified torque (Sect. C 3).
Refit the footrest bracket to the
frame (Sect. H 4).
Reconnect the rear brakelight
switch (23).
Refitting of the master cylinder is
the reverse of removal.
Remmber to interpose the sealing
washers (2) between the banjo
fitting (1), the hose (7) and the rear
brake master cylinder (3).
Tighten the banjo bolt (1) to the rear
brake master cylinder (3) and the
bolt (27) securing the rear brake
fluid reservoir (25) to the specified
torque (Sect. C 3).
