Integrated Safety Functions
The following configurable control sections can use the integrated safety
functions if they have been equipped with the optional safety module
S1
:
•
single-axis
ADVANCED
(CSH01.1C)
•
double-axis BASIC UNIVERSAL
(CDB01.1C)
Features
•
Safety related stopping process:
•
"Safety related standstill" corresponding to stop category
1
according to EN
60204-1 (with drive-controlled best possible
deceleration and time monitoring)
or, alternatively,
•
"Safety related operational stop" corresponding to stop category 2
according to EN 60204-1, i.e. the drive control remains active.
Transition to standstill is carried out by the NC. Using 2 channels,
the drive monitors the attainment of standstill within the preset
tolerance time
additionally
•
"Safety related drive interlock"
→
like "Safety related standstill", but
switching to "Safety related motion" by actuating the enabling
control device is not possible
Safety switches S1/S2 are used to select "Safety related
standstill"/"Safety related operational stop". Separate switches
ASP1/ASP2 are used to select the starting lockout.
•
Safety related motion:
•
Safety related reduced speed
→
2-channel monitoring for exceeding a velocity threshold
•
Safety related direction of motion
→
2-channel monitoring for allowed direction of motion
•
Safety related limited increment
→
2-channel monitoring for allowed travel distance
•
Safety related limited absolute position
→
2-channel monitoring for allowed absolute position. Safety
related homing must be executed for the safety related absolute
position!
•
Safety related acceleration/deceleration
→
2-channel monitoring for maximum deceleration/acceleration
•
Safety related feedback:
•
Safety related diagnosis outputs
→
to transfer the "Safety related status" to additional system
components
•
Safety related safety door
→
A drive that functions as the diagnostic master can summarize
the safety related status of several axes within a protective zone
and control a safety door.
