Parameter

Alarm activation criteria

SvO

Active as soon as measurement readings are available.

Gases

Active measurement for 60 seconds without apnea.

Patient Spirometry

Active if module connected and communicating with the monitor.

Entropy

Measurement readings within the preset alarm limits for 30 seconds.

EEG

EEG present and active for 15 seconds.

BIS

Active measurement for 30 seconds.

Active measurement for 60 seconds.

NOTE

If the monitor is connected to the network, the alarms can be

heard and seen at the central station. See the central station

user’s manual for details.

Broadcast only alarms

Alarms are sent to the CARESCAPE Network and displayed on the central station or
remote monitor according to the following mapping.
