Replace the Catalytic Converter

The converter filter core is disposable according to standard facility

procedures.

1. Unscrew the converter element from the top of the housing and

discard it.

2. Loosen the wing nut on the clamp holding the exhaust filter assembly

on the vacuum pump, then open the clamp and remove the filter

assembly. Be careful not to damage the O-ring seal.
