5 Remove impact pipe
−19−
or impact
absorber (USA version)
−19 A−
Unscrew fastening screws −21− , remove impact pipe −19− or impact
absorber −19 A− with seal −20− or −20 A− .
6 Remove heat shield at
the sides −23− Unscrew collar nuts −22− and remove the heat shield at the sides −23− .
Note:
In order to remove the heat shield at the sides −23− , the charge air cooler
or the exhaust system must be removed.
