Analog Data Selection
Method
The data type to be allocated as "Analog Data 1" can be selected from a max-
imum of 6 types of data using various types of calculations, which are "Raw
Value", "Peak Value", "Bottom Value", "Top Value", "Valley Value", and "Rate
of Change". These values can be selected alone or in combination with the
Status Flags.
Setting Using the CX-
Integrator

Turn ON the power to the CompoNet Slave Unit.
2.
Double-click the icon of the Slave Unit to set in the Network Configuration
Window to open the Configuration Window. (Alternatively, right-click the
icon and select
Parameters - Edit
from the pop-up menu.)

Select the tab of the channel to select the analog data you want and select
the type of allocation data from the "Analog Data 1 Allocation" pull-down
list.
4.
Return to the General Tab Page, click the
Transfer [PC to Unit]
Button to
download the data, and then click the
Reset
Button to reset the Unit.
5.
Click the
OK
Button and exit the window.
Allocating I/O Data
Select allocation data using one of the following methods and perform remote
I/O communications.
1.
Only allocate analog value (default I/O data)
2.
Select I/O data (pattern) for allocation (fixed I/O data combination)

Hold Flags (1 output
word (2 bytes))
This is used in conjunction with each type of hold function
(peak, bottom, top, valley) and is used to control execution
timing of the hold function on the Master Unit side.
