Calculate the number of encoder pulses for
one motor revolution from the encoder res-
olution (pulses/revolution), high-speed
counter’s multiplier, and motor-encoder
shaft gear ratio. For example, if the
encoder resolution is 1,000, the high-
speed counter multiplier is 4, and the gear
ratio is 1/4, the number of encoder pulses
for one motor revolution is 1,000
