Managing master files

16.1 Uploading an NC program from

the disk drive

An NC program is stored as a master file on a 3.5" diskette and is
to be split up and loaded into the program manager of the control
system before being executed at the machine.

N10
N20

Select the "PROGRAMMING - File management" activity field.

Select the drive column using the FOCUS key.

Select the drive "A:" using the CURSOR keys.

Confirm with the TOGGLE key.

The contents of the diskette are read and displayed.

Select the desired program with the CURSOR keys.

Split master

file

Press the Split master file softkey.

The master file is split up into main programs, subroutines and table
entries and stored in the program manager of the control system.
