The modules of the laser cutting center

Motion unit for X, Y, Z (extension arm)

The motion unit consists of a cantilever extension arm and the
attached Y carriage with integrated Z axis. The motion unit is
connected to the machine body via guide rails (X carriage).

The main modules of the motion unit include:

•

Extension arm with Y carriage.

•

X axis drive.

•

Z axis drive and guide.

The B and C axis drives, the processing optics and, if available, the
welding wire feed (optional) are integrated in the Z axis.

Motion unit for X,Y,Z

The travel ranges of the X, Y, and Z axes are limited by software
limit switches. Additionally, the travel motion of the axes is
protected through mechanically actuated EMERGENCY STOP
limit switches and fixed stops.
