Installation conditions TLC 1000 and TLC 1005 - Version 5

A suitable compressor must be provided if the compressed air
supply to the system is not adequate. Due to the risk of conden-
sation build-up, the maximum distance between the compressor
and the basic machine should not exceed 50 m.

Process gases, cooling water supply and return, and compressed
air for sealing gas conduit and beam guide ventilation are
conducted through the B/C gearbox by way of the rotational
transformer.

Caution

If the compressed air supply is switched off without a
sealing gas supply connected, then water could penetrate
the rotational transformer in the B/C gearbox!

Water can infiltrate gas and air lines.

emergency supply at the instrument panel.

Note
Connect a 50-liter compressed air cylinder or nitrogen cylinder with
a pressure of approx. 1 bar to the one-way valve on the instrument
plate (see pneumatic system diagram).
