Cutting around corners - tube section technology table
Rectangular tubes have four corner radiuses of the same kind. Two
steps which apply to all four corner radiuses are programmed in the
tube section technology table on page 2, "Cutting around corners".
Profile tubes can have different corner radiuses. A separate tube
section technology table for "Cutting around corners" must be
programmed in two steps for each different corner.
Two parameters are evaluated for each step.

Programmed nozzle distance Step 1: the actual nozzle
distance is increased by the value entered when the distance
control system is actuated; for Step 1 – cutting on the flat side
immediately before and after the corner radius.

Programmed nozzle distance Step 2: the actual nozzle
distance is increased by the value entered when processing
with the activated distance control system; for step 2 – cutting
on the corner radius.
•
Reduced cutting speed, Step 1: actual path velocity during
cutting directly in front of and behind the corner radius.
•
Reduced cutting speed, Step 2: actual path velocity while
cutting on the corner radius.
