Create
interrupt.
If you wish to create a new interruption, i.e. subdivide an existing
interruption time interval, you must first select a message text from
the list for the new interruption and then press the "Create interrupt."
softkey. A mask appears with the new message text and the
recorded time interval. Now enter the point in time of the new
interruption in the "Message time" field. (It must be within the
recorded interruption period!) Confirm your entry with OK or abort
the procedure with CANCEL.
Modify
interrupt
If you wish to modify an interruption, i.e. you wish to assign it
another message text, you first have to select the new message text
from the list and then press the "Modify interrupt." softkey. The new
message text is accepted without being confirmed and the system
returns directly to the "Machine data collection" mask.
Back
Press the "Back" softkey to return to the "Machine data collection"
mask.
10.5 MDC Evaluating machine data
You can have all of the recorded data evaluated within a self-
defined period of time and then have it displayed as a separate file
in the "Evaluate machine data" function area. The total downtime,
the average downtime, and the shortest and longest downtimes are
evaluated for each message in the process.
A so-called "deletion delay" is defined in the system configuration
during the installation of the integrated MDC. This means that all
messages from the machine control systems older than a particular
time period are deleted automatically (stored message texts are not
affected).
For this reason, you should evaluate data regularly (on a weekly
basis, for example) in order to avoid accidental loss of data.
