Replacing the cooling water

The cooling water at the cooling unit must be replaced in one (only
KK2 Al) or two (KK1 Cu and KK2 Al) cooling water tanks,
depending on the laser type. The following description refers to
one cooling water tank. The replacement of water at the second
tank is to be carried out in the same way.

Water pump

Fig. 24031

Caution!
Dry run causes pump damage.
The cooling unit pump must not be used for pumping out/changing
the cooling water.

Running off water

•

Switch the system off.

•

Open front right cover of the cooling unit.

•

Remove water to be changed from the water tank:

•

Pump off the cooling water with a spare pump.
or

•

Drain the cooling water from the tank using the drainage hose.
