Softkeys
Modify
MDC text
To modify an existing message text, first select the corresponding
text from the list and then press the "Modify MDC text" softkey.
A window appears in which you can enter the new message text.
Confirm your selection with OK or cancel the procedure with
CANCEL. The four reason types and the "???" message text cannot
be modified.
Append
MDC text
New message texts can only be "attached" to message texts that
already exist, i.e. made subordinate to them. First select the
message text to which the new text is to be attached. Then press
the "Append MDC text" softkey. A window appears in which the
"father text" is displayed together with number and level. Enter the
new text into the designated field and confirm your entry with OK or
cancel the procedure with CANCEL.
The new text is added to the list beneath the "father text".
Delete
MDC text
To delete a message text, select it from the list and then press the
"Delete MDC text" softkey. A window appears in which you are
prompted to confirm the deletion.
Confirm with OK or cancel the procedure with CANCEL. The four
reason types, the "???" message text as well as message texts in
which further texts are subordinated cannot be deleted.
•
Level: The message texts are subdivided into different levels
with the four reason types making up level 1. New message
texts must be assigned or subordinated to one reason type or
to an existing message text. They are automatically classified
one level lower (ascending numbers!) than the original text, the
so-called "father text".
•
No.: Every message text is automatically assigned a four-digit
number. The first digit designates the type of message text, the
other three indicate the serial number within this type.
•
Master no.: the number of the "father text".
•
MDC message text: the actual text.
