Check mirror for contamination or damage.

Clean

Remove cover.

Deflection mirror (57 and 58):
1.

Undo the cap screws on the deflection mirror.

Carefully take out the mirror holder. The mirror remains

in the mirror holder for cleaning.

3. Blow the mirror clean using oil-free compressed air or

nitrogen.

4. Clean the mirror surface with lens cleaning paper

and acetone. Repeat this procedure several times if
necessary. Only use each piece of cleaning paper
once!

5. Clean with Topol 2 if there is a high degree of

contamination.

6. Clean the mirror support area.
7.

Blow off mirror surface and mirror support area using

bellows.

8. Remount the mirror holder and screw it firmly in place.
