5.

Operating in marking test mode

The test marking function is used to engrave a contour on the
workpiece in order to, for example, compare the actual contour with
the nominal contour. This function can only be activated during
laser cutting. The control system uses the Marking LTT internally,
instead of the Cutting large/medium-sized/small contour LTT. This
means that for LTT’s created by the user, the Marking LTT also
needs to be created. All parameters are automatically available for
LTT’s created by TRUMPF.

Note:
There is a higher priority on LASER test mode (in which program
can be processed without the laser beam ignited – LASER TEST
button is lit up) than on the marking test mode function.

Select Operation >Set-up >Switch elements >General.

Select "Test marking".

Press TOGGLE.

The display switches to ON. LASER TEST flashes.

Press PRODUCTION.

Program

selection

Press Program selection.

Press START PROGRAM.

The program starts. The "Test marking mode" mask is opened the
first time TC_LASER_ON is called.

Note:

Press Test mode Off: the function is deactivated.
Press Test mode On: the function is activated.
Press Note: help on the topic is displayed.
Press Continue: the selection is transferred to the control system.
