The following measures should be taken immediately if the filter
plates are on fire (smoke coming out of the clean gas outlet):
1. Switch off the MAIN SWITCH of the machine.
2. Remove the sealing cap on the side and back. Spray
extinguishing agent into the openings.
3. Open the upper door (to the clean gas space) with someone
else standing by to cover you.
4. Extinguish the fire completely with the fire extinguisher.
In the event of a fire in the dust container (smoke coming from the
lower door), the following measures are to be implemented at
once:
1. Switch off the MAIN SWITCH of the machine.
2. Open the lower while using protective clothing.
3. Open clamping ring, remove cover.
4. Pull out the dust container. If possible, put a metal plate on the
dust container and carry the container out of the hall.
5. Let it burn down in a controlled manner under supervision.
A fire in the filter plates triggers an acoustic and a visual alarm.
The CO
2
fire extinguishing unit is automatically triggered. The
following measures should then be taken:
1. Switch off the MAIN SWITCH of the machine.
2. Wait approximately 5 to 10 minutes to allow the extinguishing
agent to take effect.
3. Then open the upper door (to the clean gas room) while using
protective clothing. Hold the fire extinguisher ready. A fire can
re-ignite if oxygen is added.
An acoustic and optical alarm is triggered if there is a fire in the
dust container. The CO
2
fire extinguishing unit will not be
automatically triggered. The following measures should then be
taken immediately:
