14.1 Inserting welding wire
Welding wire feed is an option for welding applications with
supplementary wire. The coil at the Z axis and the drive at the
welding head can be removed.
Prerequisite
•
The welding head and Z center sleeve are equipped with the
components for welding wire feed.
•
The welding head together with the welding wire drive has
been installed and connected.
Note
The rotation of the welding head around the C axis is restricted to
± 200° if the welding wire feeder is in use.
1. Open the roller box. Put the wire roll on the holder.
2. Insert the welding wire into the leader hose.
3. Open the driving rollers with the clamping lever.
4. Feed the welding wire through the two form rollers and the
guide roller. The welding wire must hang out of the hose
connection in a straight line.
