Operation
4-107
•
Axis speeds: the speed currently active for the axis movement
will be displayed.
-
Reduced: teach panel is activated, axes travel with reduced
speed.
-
Normal: machining is activated, axes travel at maximum
speed.
-
Active: when switching between reduced and maximum
axis speed.
•
Max. laser output: The maximum laser power valid for and
usable on the system will be displayed. The reason for this is as
follows: systems used for cutting and welding generally use
lasers with a higher laser output. The maximum laser output
can be restricted by means of an application parameter (service
function) in order to protect the lens in the cutting head from
excessive laser output.
-
Effective: the limitation on the output only applies during
laser cutting. The laser output programmed in the laser
technology table is restricted to the applied value (usually
4000 W).
-
Not effective: the limitation on output is not effective during
laser welding nor with KEY SWITCH SERVICE MODE ON.
The full laser power is available if the identification connector
of the welding head is installed. The same applies if no
processing optics are installed and no optics have been
selected in the "Head selection" dialog box, e.g. for mode
shots or with SERVICE MODE KEY SWITCH ON.
•
Test marking: press this switch element to switch the marking
test mode on or off. The contour is engraved on the workpiece
for test purposes. This function can only be activated during
laser cutting. The laser technology table switches from "Cutting"
to "Marking" without needing to change the parameters
"Piercing type" or "Cutting type" in the TC_LASER_ON cycle. It
is important that the appropriate LTT for the material is called
up in the TC_LASER_ON cycle.
-
OFF: the default setting of this switch element is OFF. The
marking test mode can be deactivated by pressing the
switch element again or by pressing the Test mode off
softkey in the "Test mode marking" mask.
-
ON: test marking is activated. If an NC program is started
in automatic mode, a mask will appear (operation: see
Part
3, Operating the machine, section "Working with
marking test mode"). The LASER TEST button flashes. The
button is lit up if LASER TEST was already active
beforehand. Note: LASER test mode has a higher priority
than test marking.
