This chapter provides the information required to plan and prepare for the installation of a Vivid 3N Pro/
Expert ultrasound unit. Included are descriptions of the electrical and facility requirements that must be
met by the purchaser. A worksheet is provided at the end of this chapter (see

Figure 2-4 "Connectivity

Installation Worksheet" on page 2-11

) to help ensure that all the required network information is

available, prior to installation.
