PARKING LAMP HOUSING REPLACEMENT
(Fig. 3)
N O T E : T h e lam p housing and lens are not inter­
changeable left to right side.
Left Side
1. O pen h o o d for access.
2. D isconnect lead.
3. Rem ove (2 ) tw o n u t assemblies from rear o f parking lamp
housing.
4.
F ro m fro n t o f grille wiggle lam p assem bly o u t grille
opening.
5. Install new lam p assem bly in reverse o rd er o f removal.
Right Side
1. Rem ove headlam p bezel and headlam p.
2. R each th rough h eadlam p opening for access to parking
lam p lead co n n ecto r.
3. R eaching th ro u g h h eadlam p opening, rem ove (2) tw o n u t
assemblies retaining lam p housing.
4. F ro m fro n t o f grille tilt an d slide parking lam p housing
from grille opening.
5. Install new lam p assem bly in reverse order o f removal.
REAR L IG H T IN G (Fig. 4)
The bulbs m ay be replaced by rem oving the lam p lens
attaching screws and lam p lens. The lam p housings m ay be
replaced b y removing th e lam p housing attach in g nuts.

M AR KER LAMPS
Front Bulb
1. O pen hood.
2. G rasp plug c o n n e cto r and ro tate 1/4 tu rn counter-clock­
wise to rem ove bulb inset in plug connector.
3. Install new bulb, check o p era tio n and clcse h ood.
Rear Bulb
Sam e procedure as fro n t bulb except w ith rear b o d y inside
trim .
1. Rem ove (2 ) screws retaining rear m arker lam p housing to
body.
2. R each behind lam p housing and ro ta te co n n ecto r plug
1/4 tu rn to rem ove bulb inset in plug co n n ecto r. Do not
pull ground lead loose.
3. Install new bulb, check o p era tio n o f bulb and install rear
m arker lam p housing in b o d y side.
WIPER-WASHER SWITCH REPLACEMENT
(Fig. 5)
1. D isconnect b a tte ry ground cable.
2. Reach up behind left side o f instrument panel, standing
outside vehicle and:
A. Rem ove plug c o n n e cto r from rear o f switch.
B. Rem ove (3) m o u n tin g screws securing bezel and
ground wires to switch.
3. Replace sw itch, installing ground wire and connector.
C heck o p eratio n o f sw itch, first observing if washer
solvent is in engine co m p artm e n t container.
