D em ounting
1. Rem ove valve core to co m pletely deflate tire. With tire
lying flat on flo o r, loosen beads from rim seats by
w alking around on tire w ith heels at p o ints close to rim .
With w ide side o f rim dow n, apply tire lubricant to top
bead. W ith stops to w ard rim , insert spoon ends o f tw o
tire irons ab o u t 10” ap art. While standing o n tire to hold
bead in g u tte r, pull one to o l tow ard center o f rim (fig. 4).
2. H old one iron in positio n w ith fo o t and pull second iron
tow ard center o f rim . Progressively w ork bead o f f rim ,
taking ad ditional bites if necessary (fig. 5).
3. S tand assem bly in vertical position. L ubricate second
bead. A t to p o f assem bly insert straight end o f tire iron
b etw een bead and back flange o f rim at ab o u t a 45
degree angle (fig.

).
4. T urn iro n so th a t it is perpendicular to rim . Pry second
bead o f f (fig. 7).
Mounting
All tubeless tires will be m o u n ted as follows:

. Inspect rim to insure bead seats are clean and sm ooth.

Then place rim on floor w ith wide side dow n and
lubricate first bead o f tire and u p p er bead seat o f rim
(fig.

).
2. Push first bead in to well o f rim and o n to rim as far as
possible. Using straight end o f tire iron and w ith stop
resting o n rim flange, w ork rem aining section o f first
bead over rim (fig. 9).
3. H old second bead in well by standing on tire. When
necessary, push section o f bead into rim well and anchor
w ith vise-grip pliers b y pinching pliers o n rim flange.
Using spoon end o f tire iron w ith stop tow ard riin, w ork
progressively aro u n d bead using small bites until bead
slips over flange o n to rim base. If necessary, insert second
tire iron and lubricate last

4. Check valve to be certain th a t hex n u t a t th e valve base is
tight. Inflate tire to recom m ended o p erating pressure.
Check assem bly fo r air leaks.

1. Use present tire m achines or standard tire irons following
