CONTROLS (Fig. 17)
The controls for th e C-62 system consist o f a te m p eratu re
knob and a blow er speed lever. The controls for th e C-62 &
C-63 system are th e same as C-62 except fo r a separate blow er
speed lever for the rear (C-63) unit.
Temperature Knob
This k n o b m ay be regulated to control the degree o f
cooling desired. F ully clockwise at CITY provides m axim um
cooling; how ever, turn in g the knob to HIWAY provides
adequate cooling for highw ay o peration.

ato r co n tro l valve (POA) to co n tro l the o u tle t air tem p eratu re.

A self-contained u n it, th e facto ry installed C-62 or C-63
S ystem o p era tes on recirculated air only. R ecirculated inside
air is draw n in to the u n it, passed th ro u g h the evaporator core
and in to th e vehicle th ro u g h th e adjustable ou tlets in the
ducts.
N O T E : Reduced cooling and freezing o f the
evaporator could be encountered when operating at
highway speeds w ith the controls at the " C I T Y "
setting.
