1. H old choke valve co m pletely open.
2. W ith the th e rm o static coil rod disconnected from upper
lever, push dow nw ard on ro d to end o f travel.
3. With th e ro d in th e fully dow nw ard position, b o tto m o f
ro d should be even w ith the b o tto m o f slo tted hole in
lever as show n.

4. To adjust, b end lever a t poin t shown w ith screwdriver
end.

1. H old choke valve com pletely closed by ro tatin g choke
coil lever counterclockw ise.
2. W ith th e th e rm o static coil rod disconnected, w ith cover
rem oved, push dow nw ard on coil rod so th a t the rod
contacts bracket surface.
3. The coil ro d m ust fit in choke lever n o tc h , as shown.
4. Bend choke coil rod at p o in t show n to adjust.
5. Install choke coil spring cover.

. Insert coil rod in to choke coil lever slot and install
retaining clip.
7. Make sure th a t the choke valve o perates freely from the
full open to full closed position.
