2.6- 2.6- WORK UNITS
In function of the model and optional equipment, the following machine units can be installed on the
machine:
•
AAR Anti-adhesive unit
It sprays the liquid Riepe-LPZ/II
®
over the upper and lower surface of the panel. In the areas where
this liquid is sprayed the adhesion of the glue is prevented during the subsequent gluing phase of the
edging.
• RT-E Grinding unit
Machines the sides of the panel before the edging is glued on.
• VC 500 Gluing unit
Glues various types of edges on panels with a straight pro Þ le using hot-melt glues ("EVA based" -
standard - or polyurethane - optional -).
It is equipped with 3 rollers pressure roller set.
• VC 1000 Gluing unit
Glues various types of edges on panels with a straight pro Þ le using hot-melt glues ("EVA based" -
standard - or polyurethane - optional -).
It is equipped with 4 rollers pressure roller set and with reverse mechanism.
• K-SEL End trimming unit
Cuts away excess edging with respect to panel length.
• RSK Trimming unit
Trims the excess edging with respect to the thickness of the panel.
• RI 1000 Angled chamfering unit
Chamfers the edging (straight and radius pro Þ ling).
• Angled chamfering unit RI/S
Chamfers the edging (straight and radius pro Þ ling).
It is equipped with electronic positioning of the front feelers.
• Angled chamfering unit RI/S 2P
Chamfers the edging (straight and radius pro Þ ling).
It is equipped with pneumatic positioning of the tools and of the feelers (2 positions)

• Round K Corner rounding unit
Executes the following machinings:
• Rounding and bevelling of the connection corners of the two sides edged on the head and tail of
straight panels.
• Pro Þ ling of the edge on the head and tail of shaped panels.
• Trimming of the excess edge on the upper and lower part of panels.
• Milling unit K-100
Makes slots (feed-through or blind) on the lower sides or front edge of the panel.
• RAS K Edge scraper unit
Finishes (straight or radius pro Þ ling) plastic edges.
• RAS 1000 Edge scraper unit
Finishes (straight or radius pro Þ ling) plastic edges.
Allows the fast change of the machining (radiated edge).
• RCL Glue scraping unit
Removes any residual glue. Finishes the plastic edging strips.
• SPN Buffi ng unit
These clean and polish the applied edging strips.
• SPKO Buffi ng unit
These clean and polish the applied edging strips. A special device that allows brushes to oscillate,
ensuring even wear of the brushes and improved panel
Þ nishing.
• SFB 1/1 Fine fi nishing unit
Performs the following functions: clean and polish the applied edging strips; revive the colour of the
plastic altered by previous machining.
• ID/3000 Edge Brightening unit
Revives the colour of the plastic altered by previous machining.
